We have been eagerly waiting to celebrate our OFFICIAL opening of Funk It Coffee and Thrift with all of you. Yes, we know we have been open now for a little bit. But with it being a two-woman show (along with some incredible helpers), we decided to get our feet underneath us before we threw a party.
And then came the fashion show, and then a full moon party, and then a home funeral workshop… and then we said, now is the perfect time. Let us celebrate on one of our favorite days, all hallows’ eve — a day of many meanings, but where the veil is thin and we can participate in releasing that which is no longer serving us while also celebrating a rebirth of sorts
We all live in our own cyclical universe, and such like Mother Earth, we, too, need to shed the excess that has served its’ purpose. We are releasing a lot, all the while celebrating a new journey we’re on. One year ago, we couldn’t even fathom what this time would look like, and yet here we are pursuing our dreams, and building a community even we couldn’t imagine. So in honor of this incredible moment we can only experience once, we want to celebrate with all of you — our beautiful friends, neighbors, and loving community members.

While we encourage you to celebrate how you feel called this hallows’ eve, we invite you to share in this moment with us. This is not just for us, but for you, too. We want this to feel like home for you, and feel like a safe space to come and relax. We built this for all of us, and we hope you feel just as excited as we do!
